"CHALLENGER®"

Forcible Entry Training Door System

"IT'S MORE THAN JUST A DOOR"TM

The "Challenger®"
is not just another door to be pried inward and outward.

With eleven (11) of the most common yet rarely mastered realistic forcible entry functions, four (4) of which are patented........

It is the only door that is completely mobile without any dis-assembly. It allows you to use real "K" and "R" tools with our patented lock simulators that can be re-used upwards of 60-80 times before replacement is necessary; with a through-the-lock simulator and real commercial store front dead bolts to go with it.

Here is a complete list of features

K-12 Saw Tree Side
Used for cutting up to ¾" #6 rebar
at three different heights and angles. This feature simulates cutting security bars on doors and windows so that access can be gained. Also provides great opportunity for K-12 saw training time and to teach proper body ergonomics when using the K-12 in different positions to lessen fatigue and risk of injury.

Hinge or flat plate cutting simulator

(patented)
Used to cut and pull commercial (or residential) hinges and
flat plate up to 5" x 3/8" thick. Using flat plate is just as realistic and is a much cheaper alternative to hinges.

Combination and pad lock cutting/breaking.
Used to show how to cut, strike and break the many different types of keyed and combination locks sometimes encountered on doors, gates and hatches.

   Commercial lock pulling simulator. (patented.)
Use your "K" tool as designed and pull our commercial rim style lock simulators. These simulators can and have been pulled as many as 60-80 times (depending on how overly aggressive the user is) before replacement is necessary.

Commercial/Residential dead bolt lock pulling simulator
(patented)
Use your "R" tool as designed and pull our commercial/residential dead bolt style lock simulators. These simulators can and have been pulled as many as 60-80 times (depending on how overly aggressive the user is) before replacement is necessary.

Through-the-Lock simulator.
This simulator allows the student/FF to actually manipulate real commercial store front and residential dead bolt latch mechanisms after the lock simulators have been pulled to complete the through the lock forcible entry task.

  K-12 plunge cut window (patented)
This feature demonstrates plunge cutting steel commercial doors with a K-12 saw that utilize panic bar hardware. Use a framing square through the cut groove and hook and release the panic bar thus opening the door. You can achieve up to 25 cuts in each plate before replacement is necessary. This feature may also be used with glass or plexiglass for meeting other NFPA 1001 JPR's for window forcible entry.

Hydraulic Forcible Entry
Designed for Hydraulic Rabbet tool use.
(THE DOOR IS NOT DESIGNED FOR BATTERING RAM USE)

Inward forcing
This feature uses an automatic realistic spring loaded 3/4" latch bolt and a wooden 2x2 for realistic resistance breaching. This feature may be used with or without the wooden 2"x2"

Outward forcing
This feature uses an automatic realistic spring loaded 3/4" latch bolt and a wooden 2x2 for realistic resistance breaching. This feature may be used with or without the wooden 2"x2" as well.

Custom built heavy duty panic bar
Real operating panic bar used in conjunction with the plunge cutting simulator described above.

10" solid, NO FLAT tires
(with radial ball bearings)
Allows for safe, smooth and quick movement of the simulator over the roughest terrain and are flat spot resistant when left on its wheels for storage.

3rd Wheel Mobility System (patented)
This 3rd wheel mobility system allows for quick, safe and easier movement of the door with out any dis-assembly.
The door is also designed so that it can pass through standard exterior steel doors with widths measuring 34" or wider and heights of 82" or taller.

The door uses very minimal and inexpensive consumables considering all of its functions. In fact it currently only cost an average of a little over $3.00 per student/FF to complete 10 of the features/functions on the simulator (not including store bought locks for the lock cutting/breaking simulator, the many different styles, sizes and strengths affect the cost)

Why buy multiple, expensive, and separate props when you can have eleven (11) of the most challenging and realistic forcible entry techniques all on one quality built system.

Most importantly it is completely mobile without any dis-assembly required.  It is even shipped assembled with a
1 year craftsmanship warranty and an initial starter set of consumables, a $288 retail value.

The

"CHALLENGER"
K-12 Training Saw Tree

The "CHALLENGER" K-12 Training Saw Tree is designed for the fire service industry to help familiarize new recruits and current firefighters with the K-12 saw, it's capabilities, use of good body ergonomics during use and to keep proficient with the saw and skills through out their careers.

Here is a complete list of features

Hinge or flat plate cutting/pulling simulator

(patented)
A total of 3 patent pending hinge cutting attachments that are adjustable to the two most common heights of commercial door hinges. These hinge cutting attachments allow you to cut all 4-1/2" commercial, 4" residential and flat plate up to 5" x 3/8" thick. Cutting plate is just as realistic and is a much cheaper alternative to hinges.

  Rebar cutting fixtures
Used for cutting up to ¾" #6 rebar
at three different heights and angles. This feature simulates cutting security bars on doors and windows so that access can be gained. Also provides great opportunity for K-12 saw training time and to teach proper body ergonomics when using the K-12 in different positions to lessen fatigue and risk of injury.

Combination and pad lock cutting/breaking
Used to show how to cut, strike and break the many different types of keyed, combination and hockey puck locks sometimes encountered on doors, gates and hatches.

 Extra large clamping fixtures
The Saw Tree also provides 2 additional large clamping areas to secure and cut wooden 2x4's or other larger metal pieces. If it fits and can be secured safely it can be cut.
